Let’s Make Stuff: Brush Lettering at Cottage Grove Service Center

July 15 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Join us for Let’s Make Stuff! a hands-on creative program where you can get crafty and learn something new by learning the elegant art of brush lettering with Washington County Library’s online learning platform, Craft & Hobby. Participants will follow a guided Craft & Hobby video tutorial to learn the essential strokes and techniques you need to create custom cards, gift tags, and more.

There are two ways to participate:

Attend in person

Join us at Cottage Grove Service Center, 13000 Ravine Parkway South, Cottage Grove. You will receive two types of black brush pens and paper supplies. Complete the tutorial with staff support. After class, continue the self-paced lessons from home or by using a library computer to create custom cards and gift tags.

Participate as a take-and-make project

If you prefer to complete the project independently, register for the program and pick up your supplies between July 15–21. Follow the Craft & Hobby video tutorial at your own pace from home.

Let’s Make Stuff! is a creative class for adults. Each class features a different project. Space is limited, so registration is required. Register online or call your local library branch.

Before registering, please make sure you can attend the in-person class on July 15 or that you are available to pick up supplies between July 15–21. If you are unable to participate, cancel your registration as soon as possible so someone on the waiting list may participate.
