Mushrooms are an essential—and often mysterious—part of our local ecosystem. Whether they are hiding under fallen leaves or perched on ancient oak trees, fungi are all around us! Join experienced forager and Dodge naturalist Andy Vang for an evening dedicated to the basics of mushrooming.
This guided trek through the scenic woods of Shepard Farm will teach you how to spot and identify various species that call the local landscape home. It’s the perfect opportunity to sharpen your observation skills and connect with the natural world.
