SUMMARY:Mindful Magnets at Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park
DESCRIPTION:Join a teaching artist from the Textile Center at Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday\, March 3\, to make mindful magnets. Mindfulness and stitching go hand-in-hand. In this activity\, you’ll use two embroidery stitching techniques to create fridge or locker magnets\, each containing words of affirmation to set your intention. Create a list of attributes that are special and unique to you\, and stitch them with mindfulness! \nNo registration is required. Table space allows for 15 patrons at a time. Additional participants will be welcomed to join the activity as seats become available\, with no more than 15 participants in the classroom at a given time. This ensures a high-quality experience for each participant.  \nThis event is recommended for developmental ages five and up. Fine motor skills and creative thinking are the main aspects of this program.  \nThis program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
