DESCRIPTION:If you are interested in learning to sew\, join us at Park Grov
 e Library for a chance to learn the basics\, even if you don't own a sewin
 g machine. In this class\, we will cover how to use a sewing machine to cr
 eate a pair of fleece mittens. Participants will learn the parts of the 
 machine\, how to thread it properly\, practice stitching straight\, and th
 en sew a pair of fleece mittens. All supplies\, including sewing machines 
 and fabric\, will be provided. \nFor adults and high schoolers. Registrati
 on is required.   \nTaught by local volunteers from the American Sewing Gu
 ild – Minneapolis | St. Paul Chapter. \nThis program is funded with mone
 y from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
