DESCRIPTION:In this hands-on class at Park Grove Library\, you'll learn the
  essential functions and settings of a sewing machine\, from threading to 
 operating the foot pedal. We will cover the basics of stitch types\, seam 
 allowances\, and machine maintenance to ensure smooth operation. You'll al
 so complete a simple project that gives you practice in handling fabric\, 
 cutting patterns\, and stitching seams.\nBy the end\, you'll feel comforta
 ble using a sewing machine for a variety of creative projects. Machines wi
 ll be available during class\, and all materials will be provided. This cl
 ass will be held at the Park Grove Library\, hosted by the Public Health a
 nd Environment Department of Washington County.\nClass is limited to 5 par
 ticipants. Registration is required.
