Strawberry Fest Top Chef Contest

REGISTRAT ION BEGINS AT 5 P.M. AND JUDGING IS AT 6 P.M.

YOUTH DIVISION 10 AND UNDER
Categories for the youth division
will include chef’s choice.

JUNIOR DIVISION 11-17 YEARS
Categories for the junior division
will include chef’s choice.

ADULT DIVISION 18+
Categories for the adult division
will include; appetizer/side dish,
breads, cakes/pies, desserts
and main dish.

2022 RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Each food item must contain strawberries!
2. Only one entry per person per category in each
   division is allowed.
3. Exhibitors will not be allowed to enter items in
   another person’s name.
4. All items must be entered in disposable containers
   or paper plates.
5. All entries for all categories must be made from
   scratch. Bought food (including pie shells like store
   bought graham cracker crust) will not be eligible
   for entry.
6. A recipe for each entry must be included, along
   with name, address and phone number. Either
   typewritten or in legible handwriting.
7. Entries will be accepted on Friday, June 17 from 5-6
   p.m. Judging will begin promptly at 6 p.m. across
   from the Strawberry Fest Information Booth.
8. Judging criteria will be based on taste, appearance,
   creativity and overall appeal.
9. All recipes submitted as entries become property
   of the Cottage Grove Strawberry Fest, a non-profit
   501(c)(3). By entering the contest, all participants
   consent to the commercial use of their name,
   picture, likeness and recipe for advertising and/or
   publicity/promotional purposes without further
   compensation. The contestants must allow the
   festival to use their recipe, with proper credit, for
   inclusion in a Cottage Grove Strawberry cookbook
   if created.

*Please note: If your item(s) needs to be refrigerated or served warm, please bring your item(s) in an appropriate container. We do not have access to keep items hot or cold.
