March 11 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Staying safe online is not as hard as you might think. This session with Roger Hagedorn at Park Grove Library discusses what makes good passwords and how to use a password manager. It also explains how and why to keep software updated, helps you spot phishing attempts, and covers a few other basic steps that really reduce the chances that hackers invade your accounts or devices.
Roger will give you tips that won’t require expensive software or take an afternoon on the phone with tech support to implement. You can protect yourself online with a few simple steps, a few minutes, and a little bit of targeted energy.
