The historical Shepard Farm, owned and operated by Dodge Nature Center, is a 140-acre property complete with beautifully restored 1920s-era buildings and barns, animals, walking trails, community gardens and more.
Bring the family for one of their free guided trail hikes or educational programs. While you’re at the farm, be sure to say “hello” to the cows and goats that live there.

Alright, while it’s not in Cottage Grove, it’s only a quick five minute drive to The Hayloft. A cozy and welcoming ranch, The Hayloft is home to goats, horses and llamas for animal experiences that nourish the mind, body and soul.
